Setup Steps

  1. From your Shopify Admin, click Apps, then click "Rivo Reviews"

  2. On the Rivo dashboard, click Widget, then turn the review widget status to ON

  3. Visit a product page to preview the app on your store

  4. And that’s it! Sit back and let the app do the hard work!

IMPORTANT: Please clear your cookies or view from an Incognito window if you can't see the widget.

Frequently Asked Questions

The app isn’t working for my store

Please ensure that you have the review widget turned on and that you have cleared your browser cookies while testing. If you have followed both of these steps, please sync your settings by visiting the troubleshooting section of the Settings page.

How do I use app blocks to move the review stars or widget to a different place on my product page?

By default, the review stars are placed below the product title on the product page. The review widget is located directly under the product information. To change the placement of the stars or widget, follow the steps below.

  1. Open your Online Store 2.0 theme editor in Shopify

  2. Navigate to the product page or template that you'd like to change

  3. On the left hand side, click **Add block** and under apps select "Rivo Review Stars" or "Rivo Review Widget"

  4. Next, drag and drop the stars or widget in the order you'd like them to display on your page

  5. Click the save button to save your changes

Tip: The steps above apply to Online Store 2.0 compatible themes. For vintage themes, specific code will need to be inserted - see our document to assist here.

How do I import my reviews from another app?

Uninstalling the app from your apps list will completely remove all traces of the app from your store.
