Agency partners are web development agencies, design studios, digital marketing firms, and ecommerce consultants who implement Rivo for their clients. As an agency partner, you'll help merchants set up and optimize their loyalty and review programs while earning recurring commissions on every client you refer. You are here!

Getting started with the partner program

Joining the Rivo Agency Partner Program is straightforward and designed to get you up and running quickly:

Complete your partner application at app.partners.rivo.io/register. You'll need to provide basic information about your agency, your experience with ecommerce platforms, and your client base.

Step 2: Get approved

Our partner team will review your application, typically within 2-3 business days. Once approved, you'll receive access to your partner portal and onboarding materials.

Step 3: Complete onboarding

Access your partner portal at portal.partners.rivo.io to complete your profile, access training materials, and get your unique referral tracking links.

Step 4: Start referring clients

Begin referring clients using your tracking links. Make sure to register referrals before they sign up to ensure you receive proper credit and commission tracking.

Agency Partner Specializations (Tiers)

By becoming a Specialized partner, you've proven to be an expert in your field and have a winning track record with Rivo's products and solutions. As your partnership with Rivo grows, you can progress through our tier system to unlock increasingly valuable benefits. Your tier is determined by the Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) you refer to Rivo, and we'll work closely with you to help you advance to higher levels.

ARR is calculated based on the total annual subscription value of all active clients you've referred to Rivo. This includes both new clients and existing clients whose subscriptions have grown. Your tier is automatically updated as your referred ARR increases, and you'll be notified when you advance to a new level.

How to achieve Specialization

Rivo Verified Partner

After you submit your partner application, you'll soon become a Verified partner with Rivo. This is your starting tier and provides access to basic partner benefits and resources. Verified partners typically work with 2-5 small to medium-sized merchants.

Rivo Recommended Partners are established agencies we have a strong relationship with and work together well. We trust their work and they trust ours. These partners typically manage 5-15 active clients and have demonstrated consistent success with Rivo implementations. Recommended partners often specialize in specific industries or have developed unique expertise in loyalty program optimization.

Rivo Preferred Partner

Rivo Preferred Partners are world-class expert agencies that we rely on and back their work 100%. These are our most trusted partners who consistently deliver exceptional results for their clients. We actively send them qualified leads and they reciprocate by referring opportunities to us. Preferred partners typically manage 15+ active clients and often serve as strategic advisors for complex loyalty program implementations.

Our tiered partner program gives you access to a growing set of benefits designed to help your agency succeed. As you progress to higher tiers, you'll unlock more valuable resources, support, and opportunities. Tier progression is automatic based on your referred ARR, and we provide regular updates on your progress toward the next level.

Commission structure and payments

The Rivo Agency Partner Program offers a competitive commission structure designed to reward long-term partnerships and client success:

Commission rate

Partners earn 10% commission on all referred client subscriptions for a full 12 months. This applies to the client's monthly or annual subscription fees, providing you with predictable recurring revenue.

How commissions are calculated

Commissions are calculated based on the net subscription revenue from your referred clients. For example:

  • Client on $99/month plan = $9.90/month commission for 12 months

  • Client on $299/month plan = $29.90/month commission for 12 months

  • Client on annual plan gets you the full year's commission upfront

Payment schedule

Commissions are paid monthly, typically within the first week of each month for the previous month's earnings. You can track all your commissions and payments in real-time through your partner portal.

Referral tracking

To ensure proper commission tracking, make sure to register your referrals in your partner portal before they sign up for Rivo. Use your unique referral links or manually register prospects to guarantee you receive credit for all successful conversions.

I'm a reseller, can we white-label Rivo for our clients?

How does the referral process work?

When you refer a merchant to Rivo, you'll earn a 10% commission on their subscription for a full year. Track all your referrals and commissions through your partner portal. How do I advance to a higher partner tier?

Tier progression happens automatically when you reach the ARR thresholds: $2,000 for Verified, $8,000 for Recommended, and $15,000 for Preferred.

Yes! We provide co-brandable templates and materials that you can customize with your agency's branding. Higher tier partners get access to more advanced co-branding options and can work with our team to create custom materials.

Will my agency be listed in your partner directory?

Recommended and Preferred partners are eligible for listing in our public partner directory, which helps potential clients find qualified Rivo implementation partners. Directory listings include your agency profile, specializations, and client testimonials.

Do you share leads with partners?

Preferred partners receive qualified leads from Rivo based on geographic location, industry expertise, and capacity. We also facilitate lead sharing between partners through our partner network and co-selling initiatives.

Do you offer training or certification programs?

Yes! We provide comprehensive training materials, webinars, and best practice guides to all partners. We're also developing formal certification programs that will be available to Recommended and Preferred partners to demonstrate their expertise to potential clients.

Are there any minimum requirements to maintain my partner status?

There are no minimum requirements to maintain Verified partner status. However, to maintain Recommended or Preferred status, you need to maintain the minimum ARR thresholds. If your ARR drops below the threshold, you'll have a 90-day grace period to return to the required level.

Do you offer exclusive territories or industry verticals?

We don't offer exclusive territories, but Preferred partners can work with us to develop specialized expertise in specific industries or regions. This can include co-marketing in those verticals and preferential lead routing for relevant opportunities.
