Membership Analytics and Reporting

Membership analytics helps you understand how your membership program is performing, how member behavior changes over time, and how subscribers compare with non-subscribers.

Use two reporting areas:

  • Analytics > Memberships for detailed membership performance charts and trend data

  • Dashboard for quick subscriber vs non-subscriber comparisons

Where to Find Membership Reports

Memberships analytics page

Go to Analytics > Memberships.

At the top of the page, you can:

  • Select a date range (defaults to All Time)

  • Add a comparison period: No Comparison, Previous Period, or Previous Year

  • Change member scope between All members, With subscription, and With active subscription

Dashboard membership summary

Go to Dashboard and find the Membership Program section.

This section includes:

  • Membership Sales

  • AOV (Subscriber vs Non-subscriber)

  • Repeat Purchase Rate (Subscriber vs Non-subscriber)

  • Purchase Frequency (Subscriber vs Non-subscriber)

Key Membership Metrics

In Analytics > Memberships, this section includes:

  • Customers In Tiers: Total customers in membership tiers at the end of the selected period, plus a tier-by-tier breakdown

  • New Members Added: Unique customers added to membership subscriptions during the selected period

  • Membership Revenue: Total revenue generated from membership fees

Member Order Performance

This section tracks orders placed while customers had an active membership:

  • Member Order Revenue

  • Member Orders

  • Member Orders AOV

Member Redemption Order Performance

  • Member Redemption Revenue

  • Member Redemption Orders

  • Member Redemption AOV

Cancellation Analytics

This section helps you monitor membership attrition:

  • Cancellation Requests

  • Cancellations

  • Cancellation Revenue

Member Behavior Analytics

This section includes:

  • Member Retention Rate

  • Member Churn Rate

Order Analytics (Trailing 12 Months)

This section compares subscriber vs non-subscriber behavior over the trailing 12 months:

  • Average Order Value (trailing 12m)

  • Repeat Purchase Rate (trailing 12m)

  • Average Purchase Frequency (trailing 12m)

What Counts as a Member in Reporting

  • All members includes customers with membership tier enrollments

  • With subscription narrows analytics to members who have subscription records

  • With active subscription narrows analytics to members with currently active subscription records

If you use free membership tiers and paid membership tiers together, member counts can differ depending on which scope you select.

Data Availability and Sync Timing

If your analytics data is still being prepared, you’ll see a banner that says Processing your analytics data.

While data is processing:

  • Some charts and metrics may be temporarily unavailable

  • The page may appear blurred until processing finishes

Once processing completes, metrics load as normal.

Exporting Membership Enrollment Data (CSV)

You can export membership enrollment records from Settings > CSV Exports.

  1. Go to Settings > CSV Exports

  2. In Export Your Data, choose Membership Tier Enrollments as the Data Type

  3. Choose a Start Date and End Date

  4. (Optional) Enter a different email address for delivery

  5. Click Export Membership Tier Enrollments

Important details:

  • Start and end dates are required

  • Start date must be on or before end date

  • Export files are emailed after processing

You can track job status in CSV Export Progress on the same page.

FAQ

Why do my member counts change when I switch member scope?

Each scope uses different membership criteria. All members includes tier enrollments, while With subscription and With active subscription narrow results to subscription-based members.

We offer free and paid memberships. Which scope should we use?

Use All members for a full program view across free and paid tiers. Use subscription scopes when you want paid-membership-focused reporting.

Where do I compare subscribers to non-subscribers?

Use the Membership Program section on Dashboard for side-by-side comparisons.

Do loyalty VIP tiers show up in Memberships Analytics?

No. VIP tier analytics are separate from paid membership analytics. Use loyalty/VIP reporting for VIP performance.
