With subscription narrows analytics to members who have subscription records
With active subscription narrows analytics to members with currently active subscription records
If you use free membership tiers and paid membership tiers together, member counts can differ depending on which scope you select.

FAQ
Why do my member counts change when I switch member scope?
Each scope uses different membership criteria. All members includes tier enrollments, while With subscription and With active subscription narrow results to subscription-based members.
We offer free and paid memberships. Which scope should we use?
Use All members for a full program view across free and paid tiers. Use subscription scopes when you want paid-membership-focused reporting.
Where do I compare subscribers to non-subscribers?
Use the Membership Program section on Dashboard for side-by-side comparisons.
Do loyalty VIP tiers show up in Memberships Analytics?
No. VIP tier analytics are separate from paid membership analytics. Use loyalty/VIP reporting for VIP performance.
