Consolidated Brand Translations
Rivo now supports a consolidated translation experience for your loyalty program text. You can manage your translation content by locale and organize edits by feature area, all from one place.
This guide shows where to find the settings, how locale tabs work, and what to review if you previously used the older translation setup.
Where to Find It
In Rivo, go to Branding.
Click Translation to open the Translations page.
What You Can Edit
Inside each locale, translation fields are grouped into tabs:
Points
Referrals
Vip
General
Checkout Extensions
Memberships
This layout makes it easier to find and update text across your full loyalty experience.
Work by Locale
Each language/locale appears as its own tab (for example, en, es, or fr-ca).
Use Add Locale to create a new locale version of your translations:
Click Add Locale.
Enter your locale code.
Optional: turn on Prefill Translations via AI.
Click Create Locale.
If AI prefill is enabled, translation generation can take several minutes. You can continue once the prefill process finishes.
Migration Guidance for Existing Stores
If your store already had translation text before this consolidated experience, your existing English translation content is carried into your English locale tab.
Recommended rollout:
Review your English (
en) locale first to confirm all existing text looks correct.Add any additional locales you want to support.
Use Enabled to turn each locale on only after review is complete.
Turning a locale off does not remove that locale’s saved translation text.
Best Practices
Keep locale codes aligned with the language setup used on your storefront.
Use AI prefill to accelerate setup, then manually review key customer-facing text.
Launch new locales only after a full pass on points, referrals, VIP, and checkout wording.
Keep brand tone consistent across all locale tabs.
