Introduction

Are you looking to use Rivo Loyalty in another language or wish to tweak some text on the widget or dedicated page? Rivo Loyalty's Translation feature allows for easy editing and language adaptation for all these elements!

Translation section of the app

To personalize the language used in the app, simply follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Branding section from your Loyalty dashboard.

  2. Select Translation.

  3. Here, you can input your preferred translations for texts used in Rivo's On-Site displays, including the widget and dedicated page.

  4. After entering your desired translations, remember to click Save.

πŸ’‘ Pro Tip: By default, all texts revert to English if left blank. For a more tailored experience, we suggest providing translations or custom texts in these fields, whether in English or other languages.


Common questions

Is it possible to create two translations within the app?

Currently, the app can only be set to one language at this point. When customers view your store from anywhere in the world, it will show the translations you have chosen on the translations page of the app.

Is it possible to translate texts within brackets?

Texts within curly brackets ({{...}}) are variables and are preset to display dynamic, user-specific data; they are not editable or translatable. They relate to data from your program you have set, e.g. {{tier_name}} will output a specific VIP tier name that you have predefined. However, you can translate the text surrounding these variables. For instance, any descriptive words that accompany the variables (like 'signed up') can be translated in the app's Translation settings.
