Introduction
Customize your email settings for your program notifications to match your store's brand. In this guide, we'll take a look at the basic settings for email notifications to help you get started with just a few clicks.
Sender settings
You can adjust the name and email that is displayed on your emails, as well as the email address that replies will go to. By default, these will be your store's brand name and the email address associated with your Shopify account.
Go to Settings
Click Email
Fill in the fields under Sender Settings
From name - The name visible to customers in their inbox
From email - The email address visible to customers receiving your email
Reply email - Specify an email for customers to reply to your emails
Save changes.
Explicit opt-in
For cases when you want emails to be sent to those who want to hear from you, you can enable the Require Explicit Email Opt-In level so that Rivo only notifies customers whose marketing status is shown as Subscribed
in Shopify.
Go to Settings > Email
Scroll down to Require Explicit Opt-In
Toggle the switch to
ON
Save changes.

Branding
Incorporate your brand's color palette and logo into your emails to convey brand messaging more effectively.
Go to Settings > Email
Scroll down to Branding
Click Edit Email Design. You'll be redirected to the Email Design page
Here you can:
Change the appearance of all of your email's color schemes
Customize the button border-radius
Add header media: Banner image (1200px by 480px) or a logo image (400px by 144px)
Save changes.

Custom URL Path
By default, the URL is set to /
, which directs customers to the homepage when they click the CTA button in the emails from the loyalty program. However, if you complete the URL path, you can give your customers a more personalized experience by directing them to any page in your store (i.e. mystore.com/pages/loyalty-program
).
Go to Settings
Click Email
Scroll down to Advanced
Add the custom URL path.
Custom CSS
With creative CSS tweaks, you can tailor your emails to reflect seasonal promotions, special events, or personalized offers, making your messages more relevant and appealing to your Loyalty program members.
Go to Settings > Email
Scroll down to Advanced
Insert the CSS codes into the text area
Save changes.

Change the default email address on your account
By default, the email address we have on file is the account owner email from your Shopify settings. Follow the steps below to update this email address so that you receive communication from Rivo (newsletters and updates), test emails and CSV's to your preferred email.
Go to Settings > General or click here
Scroll down to Account Settings
Enter a new email address
Save changes
Note: Currently an account can only have one preferred email address at one time.
Common questions
Why I can't add my custom domain?
If you are not able to edit your custom domain, please make sure you have configured at least one domain in Shopify. Read Shopify's guide here.
