Awtomic Subscriptions Integration
Connect Rivo with Awtomic to support loyalty rewards for subscription customers.
With this integration, you can:
Connect your Awtomic account to Rivo using a Private API Key
Enable automatic referral discount application for advocates with active subscriptions
Use subscription-compatible reward settings so discounts can be used on subscription orders

Connect Awtomic to Rivo
In Rivo, go to Integrations
Open Awtomic
Enter your Awtomic Private API Key
Click Save
Turn the integration ON using the status toggle
📝 Note: You only see auto-apply settings after adding an API key.
Configure rewards for subscription orders
To let customers redeem rewards on subscriptions, configure each discount reward to support subscriptions:
Go to Programs > Points
In Redeeming Points, create or edit a discount reward
In Purchase Type (optional), choose Subscription or Both
Optional: set Recurring Payment Options to control how many billing cycles the discount applies to
Save the reward
💡 Tip: Use Both if you want one reward to work for one-time and subscription purchases.
Auto-apply advocate referral discounts
You can automatically apply advocate referral discount codes to active Awtomic subscriptions.
Enable auto-apply
Go to Integrations > Awtomic
Confirm the integration is connected and enabled
Check Auto-apply advocate discounts to active subscriptions
Click Save
How it works
When a referral is completed, Rivo attempts to apply the advocate’s referral discount to their active subscription
The discount is applied to the advocate’s most recent active subscription
If no active subscription is found, the advocate can still use their referral discount code manually
📝 Important: Auto-apply is for advocate referral discount codes. If your advocate reward doesn't generate a discount code, there is nothing to auto-apply.
Troubleshooting
Auto-apply did not happen
Check the following:
Awtomic integration is connected and enabled
Auto-apply advocate discounts to active subscriptions is enabled
The advocate has an active subscription in Awtomic
The advocate reward is a discount reward that generates a code
The discount’s purchase type allows subscription use
Subscription reward cannot be redeemed
Check the reward settings:
Purchase Type is set to Subscription or Both
The customer has enough points
The reward is active
Finding your Awtomic API key
Log into your Awtomic dashboard
Go to your API/developer settings
Copy your Private API Key
Paste it into Rivo’s Awtomic integration settings
Save
