Rivo Accounts Entry Points
Entry points control how customers open Rivo Accounts from your storefront.
You can use entry points to:
Open the Rivo slideout from account links
Redirect old Shopify account pages into Rivo
Keep customers on their original flow after sign-in (for example checkout)
Where to Configure Entry Points
In Rivo, go to Programs > Retain > Account Widget Settings.
Under General Settings, these controls affect entry-point behavior:
Enable Account Widget
Replace Account Links
Redirect from Account Pages
Replace Legacy Account Links
Avoiding Shopify Dropdown Conflicts
If your theme has a native Shopify account dropdown or custom account menu, turn on entry-point settings in this order:
Enable Enable Account Widget first and test.
Turn on Replace Account Links and verify account links now open Rivo.
If needed, turn on Replace Legacy Account Links for older status-style links.
Turn on Redirect from Account Pages last.
If a specific account link should stay native, exclude that link from replacement in your theme before launch.
Post-Login Redirect Behavior
Rivo preserves the customer journey when sign-in starts from a specific flow.
Examples:
If login starts from a checkout/account redirect flow, customers return to that target after sign-in.
If login starts from standard account links, customers are sent into the Rivo slideout.
This helps avoid dropping customers on the wrong page after authentication.
