Introduction

Enable the loyalty status block to let customers easily view their points balance and VIP tier at a glance. This touchpoint boosts ongoing engagement with your loyalty program, enhancing the customer account experience.

How the extension works

This extension allows customers to see their points balance and VIP tier right in their accounts. It provides a simple, quick overview that keeps them updated on their loyalty status, making it easier for them to stay engaged with your program.

You can add this block to both the orders and profile pages, ensuring your customers stay informed and motivated to access their loyalty account anytime for earning and spending points.


How to add the extension

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Checkout

  2. In the Configurations section, click Customize next to the checkout that you want to edit

  3. At the top bar menu bar, select the Orders or Profile page

  4. On the left side menu, click Add app block in the section you prefer and add the Loyalty Status extension

  5. Once the extension is added, click Save. Change the position if needed.

Translation

Follow these steps to modify the text in the theme extension and button settings.

  1. From the Rivo Dashboard, go to Loyalty > Onsite

  2. In Customer Loyalty Account Access, click Customer Account UI

  3. Edit the text:

    1. Title – This is the heading within the extension. The text field supports the variables {{first_name}}, {{balance}}, and {{balance_to_currency}}

    2. Subtitle – This is the secondary heading of the extension. The text field supports the variable {{vip_tier_name}}

    3. Button Text – This is the CTA button of the extension

    4. Button URL – This is the link for the button. By default, it redirects customers to their account at /pages/loyalty-program. To use a different URL, enter a shortened link, as the domain is automatically applied

  4. Save changes.

πŸ“ Note: The {{balance_to_currency}} variable displays the value of the customer's points balance in the store's currency. This is only supported for accounts with an incremental reward created for the Ways to Redeem.

Where can I add the Loyalty Status extension?

You can add the extension to both the Profile and Orders pages of customer accounts.

Can I use different text for each page?

No. Your Loyalty Status block shares the same translation when the extension is added to both the Profile and Orders pages simultaneously.
