Saved Cart

Let customers quickly return to products they were considering with a dedicated Saved Cart section in Rivo Accounts.

Saved Cart

Saved Cart helps customers keep track of products they want to come back to later.
When enabled, shoppers get a dedicated Saved Cart section inside Rivo Accounts where they can view, manage, and move items back into cart.




What Saved Cart Includes

When Saved Cart is enabled, customers can:

  • Open a Saved Cart section from their account home screen

  • View saved products in a dedicated Saved Cart page

  • Remove products from Saved Cart

  • Add saved products back to cart from Saved Cart

Saved Cart appears for signed-in customers in Rivo Accounts.




Set Up Saved Cart

  1. In your Rivo admin, go to Accounts -> Account Widget.

  2. In the Components section, turn on Enable Saved Cart.

  3. Optional: Customize Saved Cart Title.

  4. Optional: Customize Saved Cart Empty State Text.

  5. Save your changes.




Customer Experience

Customers can access Saved Cart from the account experience, including the direct entry point #rivo-saved.

Inside Saved Cart:

  • Products display in a grid

  • Customers can open product details

  • Customers can remove saved items

  • Customers can move items into cart

If no products are saved, customers see your configured empty-state message.




Product Visibility Rules

Saved Cart follows your account product visibility settings.
Depending on your configuration, certain products may be hidden from Saved Cart (for example, excluded products or products filtered by your visibility rules).




How Saved Cart Persists

Saved Cart is tied to the customer account, so saved items are available when that customer signs in again.
Rivo Accounts can also sync current cart items into Saved Cart for signed-in customers.

Do customers need to sign in to use Saved Cart?

Yes. Saved Cart is part of the signed-in account experience.

Can I change the Saved Cart heading text?

Yes. Update Saved Cart Title in your account widget component settings.

Can I customize the empty-state message?

Yes. Update Saved Cart Empty State Text in the same settings area.

How many saved products can a customer have?

Saved Cart stores up to the 100 most recent saved products per customer.
