Favorites and Wishlists
Favorites let shoppers save products they want to come back to later. In Rivo Accounts, customers can also organize saved products into named collections and (optionally) share those collections.
This helps shoppers keep track of products they care about, and gives them a faster path back to purchase.
What This Feature Includes
When Favorites is enabled, customers can:
Save products to a favorites list
Remove products from favorites
Create custom collections inside Favorites
Add or remove products from specific collections
Open a dedicated Favorites page inside Rivo Accounts
If collection sharing is enabled, customers can also share an individual collection.
Set Up Favorites
In your Rivo admin, go to Accounts -> Account Widget.
Turn on Enable Favorites.
Update your favorites display settings:
Favorites Title
Favorites Empty State Text
Favorites Load Delay
Optional: Turn on Enable Share Favorite Collections to allow customers to share collection pages.
Save your changes.
Favorite Button on Product Pages
Customers can save products from product-page favorite buttons as well as from inside the account experience.
When a signed-in customer taps the button:
The product is added to Favorites
The button state updates to show it was saved
A confirmation message appears
When a signed-out customer taps the button, they are directed into the account login flow. After they sign in, the product can be saved automatically.
Collections and Sharing
Inside Favorites, customers can create named collections (for example, “Gift Ideas” or “Spring Picks”) and move saved products into those collections.
When collection sharing is enabled:
Customers can share a direct link to a specific collection
Anyone with that link can view the shared collection page
Notifications and Text You Can Customize
Customers see confirmation messages when items are saved or removed. You can also customize text labels used throughout Favorites (for example, button and section labels).
You can update favorites-related copy from your account widget translation settings.
How Favorites Sync Across Devices
Favorites are connected to the customer account, not just a single browser session.
That means when a customer signs in on another device, their saved favorites and collections are available there too.
