Migrating from Yotpo

Rivo includes an automated migration flow for Yotpo. This is the recommended way to move your program.

  1. Enter your Loyalty GUID and Loyalty API Key , then click Start Migration.

  2. Track progress on your Migration Status page:

  3. While Step 1 is running, you can optionally use:

    • Sync Last Week Activity to refresh recently updated Yotpo activity

    • Sync Missing Customers if the status page shows remaining customers

    • Sync Delta to bring in recent Yotpo order and customer activity

  4. Before conversion, we recommend waiting until the import, recent activity syncs, and any running sync jobs are complete.

  5. When you’re ready, click Start Conversion to move imported records into production data.
You can start conversion once your remaining customer count drops below 100, but your loyalty and VIP programs must be disabled first. If the Migration Status page shows a VIP tier name mismatch or asks you to clear existing loyalty data, resolve those warnings before conversion.

  6. Step 2 converts records. Rivo then cleans the migrated data and maps Yotpo earning rules to Rivo earning actions. When all steps are complete, you’ll see a Migration Complete message.

  7. After the migration completes, you can still use Sync Delta from the Migration Status page to pull in recent Yotpo activity for affected customers.

What this migration brings over

  • Customer loyalty records and history

  • Points balances and point history

  • Historical activity entries from Yotpo. These keep the original Yotpo activity wording from the migration instead of being rewritten or translated into your Rivo wording.

  • VIP tier memberships (when tier names match in Rivo)

  • Birthday and enrollment dates when available

  • Reward redemption history where possible

  • A migration comparison for points balances, VIP tiers, and redemptions after the migration reaches the comparison step

  • Optional migrated-points expiration if you choose an expiration date in the migration’s advanced settings

CSV fallback (manual import)

If you prefer a manual import, you can still upload a CSV from Yotpo:

  1. Upload your file

  2. Track import status on CSV Imports History

The CSV fallback imports loyalty member data such as balances, store credit, birthday, enrollment date, VIP tier name, and loyalty status. It does not import the full Yotpo history or redemption history that the automated migration can bring over.
