Auto-add free product rewards to Recharge renewals
If you use Recharge and offer free product rewards in Rivo, you can automatically add the redeemed product to a customer’s next subscription charge. This removes extra steps for your customers and helps improve redemption completion.
This setting works when a customer redeems a free product reward in your loyalty program.
Before You Start
Make sure all of the following are true:
Your Recharge integration is connected in Rivo.
You have at least one active free product reward.
Your customer has an upcoming queued subscription charge in Recharge.

Turn On Auto-Add for Free Product Rewards
In Rivo, go to Integrations.
Open Recharge.
Enable Auto-add free product rewards to next subscription charge.
Click Save.
How It Works
When a customer redeems a free product reward:
Rivo checks for that customer’s next queued Recharge subscription charge.
If one is found, Rivo adds the reward item as a free gift to that charge.
If the same reward item is already on the charge as a free gift, Rivo does not add it again.
Important Notes
This setting only applies to free product rewards.
It adds the reward to the next queued subscription charge, not all future charges.
In-store (POS) redemptions do not trigger this automatic add behavior.
If your free product reward includes multiple product variants, the first configured variant is used for the auto-add action.
Troubleshooting
If a free product was not auto-added to a subscription renewal, check the following:
The Recharge integration is connected.
Auto-add free product rewards to next subscription charge is enabled.
The redeemed reward is a free product reward (not a discount or free shipping reward).
The customer has an upcoming queued subscription charge in Recharge.
The reward item is not already present on that charge as a free gift.
If all settings look correct and the reward still does not appear, try a new redemption and verify the customer’s next upcoming subscription charge.

No. The reward is added to the customer’s next queued subscription charge.
Can I use this with non-free-product rewards?
No. This setting is specifically for free product rewards.
What if a customer has multiple upcoming subscription charges?
Rivo targets the earliest upcoming queued charge.
