Connect Ordergroove to Rivo
Before starting, obtain your Application API Key and Merchant ID from Ordergroove. The Merchant ID is your Ordergroove merchant public ID.
In Rivo, go to Integrations.
In the Subscriptions section, select Ordergroove.
Enter your Application API Key and Merchant ID.
Click Save.
Use the Status toggle to turn the integration on.
After connecting, the integration settings and Ordergroove earning rules appear on the same page. You can use the Status toggle to pause or resume the integration without removing your credentials.
Apply rewards to Ordergroove subscriptions
Rivo offers automatic and customer-selected ways to apply rewards. Each option must be enabled separately under Integrations > Ordergroove.
Auto-apply advocate discounts
Turn on Auto-apply advocate discounts to active subscriptions to apply an eligible referral advocate discount to the customer’s earliest upcoming Ordergroove order.
The advocate reward must be configured for subscription purchases or both one-time and subscription purchases. Fixed amount and percentage discounts are supported.
Auto-apply redeemed discount rewards
Turn on Auto-apply redeemed reward discount codes to active subscriptions to send an eligible fixed amount or percentage reward to the customer’s earliest upcoming Ordergroove order after redemption.
The reward must apply to the entire order and must be configured for subscription purchases or both one-time and subscription purchases. Rewards limited to full-price items are not supported.
Any minimum order amount and reward expiration are included when the reward is applied.
Auto-add free product rewards
Turn on Auto-add free product rewards to next subscription order to add the selected reward product to the customer’s earliest upcoming Ordergroove order and apply a one-time 100% discount to that item.
The upcoming order must contain an active subscription that can accept the reward item. If the reward offers multiple variants, the customer’s selected variant is used when available.
Let subscribers choose where to apply rewards
You can show buttons that let eligible subscribers apply a reward to an upcoming subscription order instead of using it in the cart.
Enter the Shopify customer tag used to identify your Ordergroove subscribers in Ordergroove subscriber customer tag.
Turn on Show apply-to-subscription redemption button for fixed amount and percentage rewards.
Turn on Show add-free-product-to-subscription redemption button for free product rewards.
Save your changes.
Only logged-in customers with the matching Shopify customer tag see these options. The tag match is not case-sensitive.
The discount button has no effect while automatic redeemed discount application is enabled. The free product button has no effect while automatic free product application is enabled.
Reward active subscription count goals
Ordergroove can award points when a customer reaches the active subscription count configured in a Subscription count earning rule.
In Rivo, go to Programs > Points.
Add or edit a Subscription count way to earn.
Set the subscription count goal and reward amount.
Make sure the way to earn is active and configured to use your subscription integration.
Save your changes.
Customers receive this reward once per Subscription count earning rule. The integration must be connected and active, and the customer must be eligible for your loyalty program.
You can review and edit these rules from the Ordergroove earning rules section on the integration page.
Important considerations
Rewards are applied to the earliest upcoming active Ordergroove order found for the customer.
Fixed amount and percentage rewards are supported for Ordergroove subscription discount redemption. Free shipping rewards are not supported.
A reward configured for one-time purchases only cannot be applied to an Ordergroove subscription.
If an item already has another discount, Rivo will not add a second free product discount to that item.
Turning the integration status off pauses Ordergroove reward and earning features.
