Introduction

Using social media is a great way to boost business! Creating a points program for those who follow your business or share your business link on social media is an excellent way of reaching more people and creating business opportunities.

Points for Follows

Show your appreciation to customers when they follow you on Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.

  1. From the Dashboard, go to Programs.

  2. Click Edit on Follow on Twitter, Follow on Instagram or Follow on TikTok under the Earning Points section.

  3. If you cannot see any or all of these options, simply click Add Another Way to Earn and choose these options.

  4. Enter your Username.

  5. Set the Status to ON.

  6. Enter the points amount you wish to give out.

  7. Once you are satisfied with your settings, click Save.

Points for Likes and Shares

You can also reward your customers who like your page or share your business link on social media.

  • Click Add Another Way to Earn under the Earning Points section and click Like page on Facebook.

  • If you can already see this option among the list of actions, click the Edit button beside it instead.

  • Enter your Facebook page name.

  • Set the Status to ON.

  • Enter the points amount you wish to give out.

  • Once you are satisfied with your settings, click Save.

  • Repeat the same steps for link sharing on Facebook and Twitter, if preferred.

Common questions

Can I set the app to give out the points only after the customer has completed all the steps to follow me on social media?

Unfortunately no, this is a limitation of social media platforms. These platforms block access from any third-party reading data on social media accounts. Like other loyalty apps, we have to work off the honor system, meaning we must assume that the user will complete the action upon going to the profile since these platforms do not allow anybody to see this information. In our experience, the vast majority of customers do follow through on these actions, especially as our app makes it so easy by bringing them directly to your social profiles.
