What You'll Achieve
Reward your customers with loyalty points when they leave a product review using Yotpo. This integration helps you:
Increase review submissions by incentivizing customers
Drive repeat purchases through earned points
Build stronger customer relationships through engagement
Create the Way to Earn in Rivo
From your Loyalty dashboard, go to Programs > Points.
Select Add Another Way to Earn > Post a product review.
Select Yotpo reviews from the dropdown.
Enter the points amount you wish to award.
Optional: Add a limit to how many times each customer can earn points for leaving a review.
Recommended: Set a frequency limit (for example, once per day or week) to prevent abuse.
Once you're happy with your settings, hit Save and make sure the status is set to On.
Create the Workflow in Shopify Flow
Once you've followed the quick steps above to create your new Way to Earn, you'll need to create the workflow in Shopify Flow that will alert our app when a customer leaves a review.

From your Shopify admin, go to Apps > Shopify Flow and click Create Workflow.
Click Select a trigger and select New Yotpo review from Yotpo Product & Photo Reviews' available triggers.
Next, click Output > Action and select Add Points for a Review from Rivo's available actions.
In the Customer Identifier field, use the variable ##{{reviewerEmail}}
Optional settings to customize your integration:
Enter a points amount override: This will override the amount that you have set in Rivo, giving you flexibility for special promotions.
Check the Skip Email option: Enable this if you'd prefer customers don't receive an automatic notification email about their points.
Once you're happy with your settings, click Turn on workflow.

Common Questions
Will the app award points to all my customers?
By default, Rivo awards Loyalty points to Members only. However, you could change the Points program participation in your settings. Please check out Change Points program participants for more information.

What if a customer submits multiple reviews in a short time?
Setting a frequency limit when creating your Way to Earn will control how often a customer can earn points for reviews, preventing potential abuse while still rewarding genuine engagement.
Why aren't my customers receiving points for their reviews?
Check that: (1) Your "Way to Earn" is set to "On" in Rivo, (2) Your Shopify Flow workflow is active, (3) The customer email in Yotpo matches the one in your store, and (4) The frequency limit hasn't been reached.
