Reward Customers for Loox Product Reviews
Encourage customers to leave product reviews by rewarding them with loyalty points. This integration connects Loox product reviews with your Rivo loyalty program, automatically awarding points when customers submit reviews.
Create the Way to Earn in Rivo
From your Loyalty dashboard, go to Programs > Points.
Select Add Another Way to Earn > Post a product review.
Select Loox from the dropdown.
Enter the points amount you wish to award for each review.
Optional: Add a limit to how many times each customer can earn points for leaving a review. We recommend setting a frequency limit (e.g., 1 per year) to prevent abuse.
Click Save and make sure the status is set to On.
Create the Workflow in Shopify Flow
Once you've set up your Way to Earn, you'll need to create a workflow in Shopify Flow that connects Loox reviews to Rivo rewards.

Important: You'll need to have the integration to Shopify Flow enabled from your Loox Settings> Integrations.
From your Shopify admin, go to Apps > Shopify Flow and click Create Workflow.
Click Select a trigger and select New review from Loox Product Reviews & Photos' available triggers.
Next, click Output > Action and select Add Points for a Review from Rivo's available actions.
In the Customer Identifier field, use the variable

Optional settings:
Points Amount Override: Enter a specific value to override the amount you set in Rivo. Leave blank to use the points amount from your Way to Earn settings.
Skip Email option: Check this box if you don't want customers to receive an email notification about their points (even if you have enabled 'Points Earned' email notifications in Rivo).
Click Turn on workflow.
Common Questions
Will the app award points to all my customers?
By default, Rivo awards Loyalty points to Members only. You can change the Points program participation in your settings. Please check out Change Points program participants for more information.
Can I connect a different reviews app?

Will customers see this Way to Earn in the loyalty widget?
Yes, the "Post a product review" option will appear in your customers' loyalty widget and landing page, showing them how many points they can earn for leaving a review.
How can I prevent abuse of this reward?
We recommend setting frequency limits for this Way to Earn (e.g., limiting to 1 review per year per customer). You can configure this when setting up the earning rule in Rivo.
