Points for Posting a Junip Review

Grant points to your customers for each Junip review.

✨ Shopify Flow is required for this integration. It's available for free to all merchants. Install it from the Shopify App Store.

Create the Way to Earn in Rivo

  1. From your Loyalty dashboard, go to Loyalty > Points.

  2. Select Add Another Way to Earn > Custom Action.

  3. Enter an Action Name (e.g., "Post a Product Review").

  4. Enter a Completed Action Name (e.g., "Posted a Product Review").

  5. Enter a Description (e.g., "Earn ##{{points_amount}} for sharing your product experience").

  6. Set a limit on how many times each customer can earn points for reviews to prevent abuse.

  7. Click Save and ensure the status is set to On.

Set Up Shopify Flow in Junip

Follow Junip's guide to activate Shopify Flow within their application.

Create the Workflow in Shopify Flow

After setting up your Way to Earn, create a workflow in Shopify Flow to trigger points when customers submit reviews:

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Apps > Shopify Flow and click Create Workflow.

  2. Select Junip - Review Submitted as the trigger.

  3. Add an action: select Add Points for a Custom Action from Rivo.

  4. Set Customer Identifier to ##{{customer.email}}

  5. Enter your Custom Action Name exactly as created in Rivo (e.g., "Post a Product Review").

  6. Optional settings:

    • Points Amount Override: Set a different point value than configured in Rivo

    • Skip Email: Disable the points earned notification email

  7. Click Turn on workflow.

Common Questions

Who can earn points for reviews?
By default, only loyalty program members earn points. You can modify this in your Points Program Participation settings.

Can I use other review apps?
Yes! Check out our supported review platforms.
